Rural, quiet campsite with a great view of the Elz Valley. The place is terraced. Fruit trees provide shade and allow a view of the valley. The place is not large but is still very popular, so a reservation increases the chances of a good place. Per: Well-kept places with electricity and fresh water. Family, uncomplicated and cozy atmosphere. Nice and helpful staff. Showers and washroom clean and attractive. Toilets a bit older but well-kept and clean. Garden restaurant with a good regional offer (including bread rolls) and affordable prices. Con: Unfortunately, there are no offers for vegetarians and vegans. WiFi only 1 hour per day and only in the area of ​​the garden restaurant.

Nice campsite with a popular view over the valley from the tent. Sanitary facilities are clean but well up from the tent.

We have been there for 4 days now and almost felt at home. The boss is really nice and really tries to make sure everything fits. Showers and toilets very clean. Large selection of food! Regardless of whether it was tarte flambée or meat, everything was delicious. The meat is really delicious. Freshly tapped you can taste it! We will be back!

A very nice campsite with great people. Sanitary facilities were very neat and clean every day (Corona times). Nice terrace with a beautiful view over the valley. Enjoyed the total experience!

With Anton and the Hoch family, you are always in good hands and with family. The view over the Elz Valley couldn't be better and with its delicious dishes, guests are catered for at fair prices. We always like to come back 👍🏻

Wonderfully quiet small campsite in a beautiful hilly area. No swimming pool, no disco, but a beer garden and good food and above all a lot of rest.

Nice small and quiet campsite with a fantastic view. Nice restaurant with a lot of local crowd. Nothing high-quality, but little is missing for basic camping. There are also quite a few sights in the area.

Super nice quiet campsite, operators very nice, are always open, happy to help if there is a problem. Sanitary somewhat outdated but clean. Would love to come back.

We had one of the best sites on the camping, that alone was worth 5 stars. Bread in the morning, restaurant on site with good food for a good price. The amenities are outdated but pretty clean. Wonderful and friendly staff that work long hours to give a good service. There is a party every other week. That draws a lot of locals. That is also the down side. There is only 1 toilet building and it is a bit awkward when you are brushing your teeth while drunk partygoers are using the toilets. But still, a good camping.

Great spot, owner told us he had wolves and leprechauns!! We being Irish weren't being fooled! Smashing set up, food, beer, coffee and croissants all top class as were the facilities.

Very friendly campsite manager Everything is very pleasant and happy to explain the environment. You can eat delicious food there for little money. Showers are wonderful. You have to go up a staircase. It is a beautiful area. There are plenty of cycling and walking trips

Arrived at 21:00 just as the kitchen was closing. Was absolutely no problem though, Flammkuchen and a beer. Friendly, super location but a little difficult to find if you're on the cycle path in the valley !

Supper

Little bit further out from Freiburg than I thought but reachable in 20 minutes. Adequate sanitary facilties and clean. Evening bar. Very quiet setting overlooking the valley. Not too much space so suggest phone call in advance.

4 stars and something, if possible. The small camping is in a beautiful site. Between a forest and a rural area, on a hill with a great view. A little bit spartan, but with everything you need. Staff is polite and helpful. The restaurant is frank. The atmosphere is friendly. Close to a train station. We had good days.

Fantastic camping, have no doubts about staying here, familiar, green and quiet with amazing views and a very decent price. I would also like to comment on the toilet facilities which there have been comments of it being outdated, they are great, in perfect working order and extremely clean. Couldn't have felt more welcome throughout our stay, fantastic beer garden and restaurant, thank you very much for a wonderful experience.

A gem in the black forest. You have to like a campsite without extra facilities. Excellent sanitary facilities, not very new, but clean and adequate. Beautiful places with a view of the Elztal. We were slightly higher on the campsite, but therefore extra quiet. Every Friday evening there is a live performance by a band with barbecue. The environment is eager to do this. There are also often locals eating on the terrace and enjoying the beer garden. Very good bread service. In addition, we were warmly welcomed by the owner. Very friendly. The tourist tax includes a free KONUS card with which you can use public transport for free, visit museums and for example swimming pools in the black forest. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool in the village of Waldkirch.

Just brilliant and our favourite campsite in Germany. On site bar, amazing host and hostess, excellent home cooked food and that view! Lordy, miles across the valley. Park up, grab a beer - ice cold- and watch the sun go down. Welcoming host, good value no pressure to leave the next morning which is great for us, as we really enjoyed the beers the night before. Would recommend this campsite to anyone. Many thanks for our best stay in Germany, Vicki and John from Ireland. Sad to leave you!

Pleasant and calm. If there are still free places, you can get a place for a night or longer very quickly and unbureaucratically. Toilets and showers are kept clean. Employees are all polite and help with any questions.

good food

Very nice and quiet campground, with great places to bike and jog and walk around it. The plots are a bit small, and the price is €26 for a tent non electric, but the bathroom facilities were the cleanest I've ever seen! I'd eat food off that super clean floor. Overall a nice stay. They have a bar and small eatery within the camp, which was a nice touch.

We really loved spending our time here. The views are amazing, the site itself has pretty much every amenity you could need and want. There are showers (with easy access for disabled people) ,dish washing stations, washing and drying machines, children's playgrounds and even a restaurant( with more than decent prices) for those who don't want to be bothered with cooking by themselves.

Friendly owners which organize alot of festivities and music bands for the guests, aswell for the locals. View is great, sanitation is clean but a bit dated. The "biergarten" is great aswell where you can also order food, which isnt bad. We enjoyed our stay here.
